New Boston Fire Department Equipment: 76-Ambulance 1

Truck Name: 76-Ambulance 1 Manufacturer: 2008 Ford F450, FWD Capabilities: 911 medical response This ambulance is equipped to handle the many kinds of emergencies that occur. It has easy access to the patient from all sides, allowing better patient care and airway management. The cot is also stronger and longer than the previous anbulance, which will accomodate taller patients. Ambulance 1 was purchased in 2008 from PL Custom. It used for all Medical emergencies. There are private services that will transport folks to doctor appointments. This ambulance is also part of the mutual aid system. It responds to medical calls, Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVAs), and sometimes structure and brush fires. We have one of the best response times in New Hampshire. We also are equipped with the recommended pediatric equipment as per the New Hampshire EMS for Children guidelines.
