FIRST SETTLEMENT
The Sargent Museum of Concord has completed its report on New Boston's Original Settlement. They determined that the site is indeed a legitimate early settlement, and have registered it with the State of New Hampshire. The Historical Society will now take steps to preserve the area.

PICTORIAL HISTORY BOOK
The books are selling fast! Copies are still available at Dodge's Store, New Boston Hardware and Goffstown Hardware. Or, you may pick up your copy at the Historical Society during normal business hours (Thursdays from noon until 2 P.M.) The cost is $19.99.

HISTORICAL ARTIFACTS DATABASE
A project is in the works to inventory and document the Historical Society's collection of artifacts. When the project is complete, researchers will be able to use the database to easily find information about local history, genealogy, etc. Volunteers are actively being sought to help out with this project. You don't need to have a lot of time to give, or any prior experience with scanning or computers. If you would like to help out, please contact Dave Chamberlain.
